Concept for proposed new Whyalla Visitors Information Centre and Maritime Museum. These buildings will be located next to the existing museum ship, the HMAS Whyalla, a Bathurst Class Minesweeper that was built in Whyalla in the early 1940’s.
The existing Whyalla Airport Terminal built in the 1960’s and revised in the 1980’s required a redevelopment to comply with current standards. To achieve this, the passenger terminal has been doubled in size, whilst making provision for the addition of a café and associated seating, a business centre, an alfresco area and updated amenities. Incoming & outgoing luggage areas have been revised to suit. Additional car parking areas and associated landscaping were added. The entire building structure was also wrapped in a new external metal skin with signature entry features.
A new Office Fit-out in an existing building at 431-439 King William St, Adelaide. The spaces consist of open and individual offices, utilities, meeting rooms, and the creation of a new staff kitchen and lunch room. The client requested a feature wall for coat hooks and an umbrella stand. Abstraction of the Acciona logo was used to design stainless steel coat hooks and a solid timber umbrella stand.
